We started roasting here at the Tokaji Coffee Roasting Manufactory in September 2013. We buy green coffee from all over the world. We always look for the highest quality batches; we only deal with specialty coffee.
When roasting, our most important consideration, regardless of any trends, is what the ideal roasting temperature and duration are for a given green coffee. This cannot be found in a manual; it requires a lot of attention, experimentation, and work. If we come across an excellent green coffee, we definitely pack it selectively after roasting for our guests.
We also create our own blends, suitable for espresso and filter coffee, as well as tailored to special requests. Each blend is the result of careful tastings, but it's worth it! We pack all freshly roasted coffee immediately, in aroma-sealed bags. You won't find old roasted coffee here; our "care" is often that everything is very fresh.
